ASCII2PS.EXE is a simple utility for printing ASCII files on PostScript
printers.
Use the program from a floppy, or copy to your hard drive. Copying
the program file (ASCII2PS.EXE) to a subdirectory listed in your PATH
statement will allow its use from any DOS prompt. Typing ASCII2PS at
the DOS prompt will display the parameters to be used for the program.
USAGE: ASCII2PS [drive:] [\path] filename.ext [LPT1: | LPT2: | LPT3:]
EXAMPLE: ASCII2PS c:\autoexec.bat lpt1:
Specifying a port parameter other than LPT1:, LPT2:, or LPT3: will write
the PostScript code to a file.
EXAMPLE: ASCII2PS c:\autoexec.bat ps.fil
will create a file "PS.FIL" that will contain the PostScript code for
printing "C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT" to the printer.
This program is freeware, and is distributed as part of a package called
PSSLEEVE.ZIP. More extensive programs that allow font selection and
page formatting are available on many BBSs.
